Any TiVo fans who have been patiently waiting for the arrival of the new TiVo Mini DVR extender will be pleased to learn, that TiVo has now started shipping their new TiVo Mini for $99.99.
The TiVo Mini has been designed to provide users with the ability of watching live TV, recorded shows and web entertainment via another TV in your house, using your already installed TiVo Premiere 4 or Premiere XL4/Elite DVR.
Unfortunately at the moment wireless networks are not supported by the new TiVo Mini DVR extender. Tivo explains a little more
“The TiVo Mini is a convenient, all-purpose companion to your 4-tuner TiVo DVR. The Mini connects another TV in your home with your 4-tuner DVR to create a whole home entertainment experience. Access movies and music from Hulu Plus, YouTube, Pandora, Spotify and more”
The new TiVo Mini also requires a monthly fee of $5.99 or if you would prefer a one-off payment of $149.99. For more details jump over to the TiVo Mini website for full specifications and setup instructions.
