Telenav has updated its scout navigation app for iPhone- sharing of release date and locations



Telenav's Scout app for the iPhone is a personal navigator capable of providing voice guide for turn by turn directions, accessibility to the local information and all other features that are expected from any GPS app.



Recently, Telenav has announced major updates in the Scout app. The updated version of app will bring more social features to facilitate the navigation need of the users.



Update will include, sharing of estimated time arrival with family and friends with just a single click. Also reports can be automated to inform by setting Scout team notes. For instance, by preparing these notes users can inform their childcare person that at which time they have to leave and what will be the time of his or her arrival. The estimated time of arrival will of course depends upon the real time traffic data.



General Manager of Scout at the Telenav, Mr. Dariusz Paczuski has shared bigger plan of Scout with the world. "The aim is to make it possible for every people to share their designed routes with the other family members and friends. Also the purpose is to inform others with ongoing updates with the help of ETA. This will be coming soon and will facilitate users if they are stuck in heavy traffic."



Another interesting feature embedded in Scout is that, users will become capable of sharing their locations by sending text message, Facebook message or email to others. Also they will be able to avail updated information by free voice guided navigation of Scout over their smartphones (Windows 8 phone, Android and iOS phone); even if they have not downloaded app. Scout will work over browser and will employ HTML GPS navigation service to transfer messages.
